Meaning:
A baby boom is a period of time when lots of babies are born. In most English speaking countries, the last baby boom occurred after the Second World War, which ended in 1945. The people who were born from this time until the middle of the the sixties are generally said to be a part of the baby boom generation. They can be called "baby boomers".

A: Most of the people who have top jobs nowadays are baby boomers.
